Heading back to Hotel Olivia after a beautiful dinner of octopus and lobster. Night time in the square directly opposite the hotel. Barcelona has become a favourite city!!! First day of driving in Spain tomorrow... Fingers crossed :)

Not an overly religious person but today I stepped into the most amazing church designed by Gaudi. He didn't get to complete it before he died but they continue to try and complete it through tourists and donations. Good chance it won't be complete until 2040. A must see in Barcelona.

Out strolling the streets of Barcelona in search of dinner and here is Another amazing example of Gaudi Architecture. Looks like the middle of the day but actually about 9.00 at night. Loving the long days of light!!!

Not quite the froke that I'm use to but enjoying a refreshing slushy in the heat of Barcelona after visiting Camp Nou, home to the Champions league winners Barcelona football club.

After a very early 3am start in London, we finally arrived to a very hot Barcelona day, settled in our hotel with a beer to start the Spanish trip!! Hotel is in the main square and looks out onto the Gotic area, very central to get around and a mass take-over of the city of tourists just like us!!! Booked for the city tour tomorrow so lots of exploring to do and hopefully some tapas and sangria to keep us going.
