The last three nights have been spent on a houseboat on the infamous Lake Kariba: infamous because of Dad talking about his ride on it when he was travelling in Africa. After stopping off at Bridge Camp last night, which hadn't been completed and had flies surrounding the showers and toilets, we made our way further south into Lusaka. It's certainly a change from the previous areas of Africa we've seen: there are satellite dishes on the horizon! In Malawi now! Not much happened between Zanzibar and here except for beaches, another night at Taxi Dave's (Absolute Africa Owner) in Dar es Salaam, and a long drive! It took us 4 hours to do the 20km drive from the ferry terminal to Taxi Dave's! Patience was tried, but we got there in the end and even had time to make spaghetti bolognaise before bed!
