The plan today was to have a lazy day at the beach. It certainly didn't start off lazy, as I had to get a dolmus, firstly back down to the otogar and then get another dolmus to Oludeniz beach…the big British tourist mecca of Turkey. Possibly still drunk this morning after last night, although let's face it, I got in at 5am and left at 8am, so I only got a two hour power nap before heading off to Fethiye. Fethiye was only supposed to be a short four hour bus ride, if only I had known what I was actually up for today, I made have laid off the sauce last night. Who am I kidding, no I wouldn't have. I crawled out of bed at around 7am and realized to my horror that I still needed to pack up ...

I had a bit of a nap after my swim and woke up at about 7:30pm. Screw it, I thought, I don't care if I've got no one to go out with, I'm going out. So I got changed, and put on a bit of makeup and headed down into the town. My first stop was the Starbucks on the harbor, I sat outside drinking my Java chip Frappuccino and looking and the beautiful harbor all lit up. I then went for a walk over to Bar Street, the name isn't really bar street, but I have no id...

And to think I basically had to force myself out of bed today, if only I'd known this day would rival some of the best I've ever had I would have bounded out of bed at full pelt and probably ran out not realizing I was still in my pajamas. Its been such a full on mixed up crazy day, I've had to split it into two entries. I was woken up with a start at 2am this morning as the bus pulled into a random truck stop for a 45 minute breakfast break this morning. Viva Turkey. I had a look around in the giant empty hall that was the restaurant and bought some helva and some chips. I then sat around outside sharing a gozleme with a stray cat.
