I spent the entire day of 22nd July in my room on the ship, sick and sore and feeling sorry for myself. This morning we had an early start and went off to Edfu temple. We took a horse and carriage ride to the temple which was really nice. I absolutely couldn't stand with the group and the guide, as this particular guide has a very monotone voice and stands outside the temple lecturing us, with us watching hordes of people entering the temple and wasting our early morning start, which is necessary to avoid the crowds.
