My Darling son phil . I am sitting here sobbing at the news I have just read on your message board i am so thrilled at what you have just said. I have prayed so long for you to come to Jesus and give your life to Him -- He will not let you down Start reading the gospels if you can and pray that Gods Holy Spirit will fill you so that all you want to do is praise God. Although your Dad and I have not set you a good example of Christianity over the years I am sure he is as pleased as I am with your news. I praise God that He has put Christians in your path and the only way forward for you is UP! May you learn quickly the ways of God and become a true follower of Jesus and His Love. I do not apologise for putting my thoughts on this message board i am NOT ashamed of Jesus He has done so much for me. The Lord bless you and keep you Phil and make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you,the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace. Numbers ch 6 v 24-26. with all my love and prayers your everloving mumx

Happy New Year Phil! I hope the emails Andy has been sending from both of us have been getting through. We think about you often, musing about what you are doing at this moment and what you might do when you return (I still think teacher), and are really enjoying the pictures you post.
Sounds like you had an epihpany over the New Year - I am very happy for you and of course your atheist firends won't desert you!

Hi Phil
Just read all your updates, sounds like you've had an unforgetable time, how can England compare?? I've realised it's only 4 weeks today and you'll be back, so I've just come down from spring cleaning your room to write you this message. After one cold week here the weather has turned very mild again, you won't notice the difference when you come home! Enjoy the New Year and your last week, and when all the Longwell's are gathered on Sunday evening we will be thinking of you. You sound very mentally fit which is a good thing after all you've been through, I hope you back to full physical strength by the time you do Kili. Cant wait to see you, miss you lots.
Love, Dadxx

Hi Phil!

Hi Phil
Glad to hear of your improvements, I really wish I could be there for a couple of hours (or MONTHS - big t) and get away from these two drunkards! It looks like I'll be doing Christmas dinner today (I DID offer, but was vetoed for some strange reason).
The really cold weather has gone now but I don't think the cricket is cancelled (it just seems like it). We didn't have normal soltice party this year which was at 22 min past midnight on the 22nd (pedantic git, aitn't he??) which I managed to stay awake for at Sara's.
Had your message about calendars, I will post a cheque for £90 today (though it won't get collected until Thursday) and any extra over the postage can go to the fund. Will make sure Pete and Kirsty, your Mom, Iris, Nigs and Cheryl, the White House, Barry Bacon, Sara, and if you give me Mark & Emmas address, also, which will leave a couple of spares. That will be my contribution, don't worry about paying me.
Had a nice time with Pete and co on Friday, they are returning New Years Eve with Jean and Mossy. Have penciled in Friday the 2nd Feb for a family get together, Pete thinks its a good idea, you will have been home a week so it will give you time to get things ready, and it would have been Nan's 100th birthday.
Enjoy your last days, I'm sure they will go very quickly. If I had the money I'd love to do Kili with you, its the only way I'd get high these days (lying b....) Bye for now, looking forward to seeing you soon.
Love Dad
