Hello Phil,
Hope you received my e mail - I never trust technology! George has gone to France until April to work as a ski guide, so we have Skyped him a couple of times. What a brilliant idea. Have read your blog and seen a small excerpt from one of the videos. My God how do you put up with the noise! Looks like an interesting country - shame about the kids. Life is well - dull, at the moment. Cold grey weather makes me feel the same. Look forward to reading the next episode - more informative than EastEnders that's for sure.
Happy Christmas and a different New Year.

Hi Phil,
last week at work so in a festive mood. Got mince pies and chocolates on the go. Sent a little something in the post to you for crimbo, let me know when it arrives.
Now I'm here, can't think of much to say! What are you going to do for Chirstmas? (that wasn't very inspired, sorry!) Went into my new place of work last week and met some key contacts. All seem very nice but offices are very grey and dull. Think my eyes will be opened considerably as they were talking about some poor family who had been terroised by a gang with samurai swords! (apparently this is fairly normal in the housing department at City Council!). I am sure it will be fine (for me that is, not sure about the terroised family).
Hopefully 'talk' to you before Christmas,
lolbxx

hi phil, im back, got deleted by ukonline, how rude! ive been over at groovy this week learning the art of plastering which wasn't too bad, lots of attention to detail and anal so just my cup of tea, so cold thought the kettle water and toilet had frozen over so not very princess like for me. chris has decided to mostly give up drinking, just 2 a night which is very good but somewhat unnerving, its like having a stranger around. i have managed to restrict myself to friday nights only and have lost 13 and a half pounds! wouldnt you think they would chuck the other half in and make it a stone for good behaviour but apparantly not! brian has been missing since saturday so probably been arrested by the abba mafia. he has decided that 3 of my cards fit in with the story which is a worry! xmas tide was much quieter than usual because it rained all day but i had fun with the boys, phil, pauline and tomarse and some peroni!. not had much sleep as in their wisom they put flashing bulbs in xmas street lights so its like trying to sleep next to strobe lights! just been to London for the week and had lots of fun, food, drink, photographic exhibitions, cocktails...i love holidays. continue with the adventure and the vitamin c L xxx

Here I am back from sunny Africa! Having spent just over a week in some of the poorest parts of africa i have to cope with the extreme affluence of this country. The one amazing fact that I have come back with is although they are physically poor they are spiritually rich ! People of all ages are asking for pray they are queing for pray! they are spiritually hungry as well as physically hungry ,so I felt able to help them. I have seen children as young as 8 or 9 caring for their younger brothers or sisters because mum and dad have died and there is no one else to help.No state help the church is doing its best!
I look forward to sending you some pictures soon Phil although I am not so handy with the camera as you. I have looked at your pictures and am glad you are seeing the sights. Let me know when you will be on Skype again and we can have a natter love mum

Hi Phil!
Well as you know didn't make it to christmas tide as went clubbing, (or not as the case may be!) but apparantly it was wet and a bit of a wash out!
It's all christmas build-up here which fills me with stress! Have been doing the play this week at school so I haven't much hair left!!! Do yours have to do a nativity with parents expecting an oscar performance??
Well not much else has been happening - glad to see you have been busy having a cultural tour of Korea ! Look after yourself and have sent your chrissy card but not sure if it will get there in time!
Love k x

Hey Phil,
Sorry i have not messaged you in a while. Things have been a bit hectic as usual. My mum had a small fall, she is fine but they had to take her into a care home for a couple weeks. I have been going to see her on my days off. She should be home for christmas which will be good! I am not working xmas eve, xmas day or new year so i am going to be in Wells with Brian instead! I have to work all the days inbetween tho.. I am going to attempt to cook a roast dinner on christmas day ( beans in the cupboard as a back up!!) We have been busy at work in the run up to the party season. I am working every night this week, somehow i agreed to that! Glad to hear you have been getting out and about and getting some historical culture. I am going to have a look at the pictures in a minute.. once i get my cuppa tea!!
I do not know what is happening in Wells, Brian played on the albatros at the christmas tide thingy, he said it was 'ok' ... man of many words! Last time i saw the other Brian he had not published any more books but was still emailing Abba in an attempt to stir them.. how many chips?? I have no idea!!!!!!!! Ok. Going to get a drink, some food and think about going back to work again..
Hope you have a good week, and feel better soon!!
Love Sarah xxx

People have stopped adding messages.. but this might be to do with a STAtravelblog update. We're back online, now, so get messaging... what's happening back home? Christmas Tide? Brian published any more books? How many chips did Frenchs''make in November?
