I woke up once in the night slightly chilly and busting for a leak, so I crawled out of my mozzy net and took a slightly rainy walk to the toilet hut where on the way I could hear a pack of dogs going crazy and scrapping the hell out of each other, got back to bed and crashed out with an extra blanket, when I woke properly breakfast was almost ready, scrambled eggs from the villages chickens and our guide Deetoo brought a laugh of bread with him so toasted that, ...

Waking up in the jungle village was different but really cool, chilled out to the sound of everything going on around me for a while and then threw back my mosquito net and headed off into the village for breakfast, shortly after I bought a bead bracelet from one of the locals, I wouldn't usually buy one but they were so hospitable and super kind to us I thought I'd give them a little something back! 7am start after about 3-4hours sleep wasn't the best way to start a day but we has to pack as we were off trekking today! We got up and ready and got all our stuff sorted for the up coming day, we got a transfer to the trekking around 9:30 and dropped off a little village a little while later on, we started the jungle trek after lunch and it was fairly hard going due to the humidity and lack of sleep... But we'll worth it, it was good to get out the city and away...

Today was defiantly a day for a hangover, I awoke to the site of a rainy city and a sore head, I both praised and resented the rain at the same time, I really wanted to go explore Chiangmai but at the same time I wanted to sit around in my comfiest clothes and do absolutely nothing..
