We're sitting on the porch at a restaurant in St. Remy de Provence, after having a wonderful outdoor dinner with amazing French cooking -- duck (that tasted just like steak), gold and purple fingerling potato chips, ratatouille, and grilled cherry tomatoes. Phil chanced a regional sauage (again) and said it was a little weird (again). The weather has been sunny for the 3rd day in a row!! It's also getting warmer! Yay! We actually walked around Arles today without our coats on.
Tomorrow is "Market Day" in St. Remy, so we'll check it out -- lots of regional produce and other wares for sale. We have a reservation for lunch afterward, which tends to be the big meal of the day. Lots of restaurants are booked for lunch so you have to have a reservation in order to be assured of a table. It's amazing to think that we've been on the road for almost 6 weeks now.
