Once again i can not uplaod any photos, but hopefully the internet will be good at some point in the future.

it has been a while since i have last but a blog in, mainly because it has been quite hectic. We spent a while in cusco acclimatising although none of us felt it at all. During this time we did alot of sightseeing and went and experienced the peruvian nightlife. we also said goodbye to housty and seb who had been travelling with us from the start. they were doing a more challenging hike to machu picchu with out a guide. we then had to pay for the rest of our trek....very depressing. all seemed well as we got on the bus to start our trek at 5 in the morning, however maggie was quite ill due to being caught in the rain... we got to the river crossing and it was obvious we were not getting across. the banks had burst and ther water was as high if not higher than the bridge. at the end of the day it resulted in us missing out on a huge part of our trip and losing a bit of our money. although a young english lwyer helped us get more back than we would have originally got. the positive from this was we could spend more tim travelling down to la paz and in la paz itself. on our way down we visited lake titikaka where there were floating reef islands and a really picturesque island. we are now in la paz and love it. we have experienced the night life which is wiked and our about to go and watch women wrestling this afternoon. however me and tomo have had to go to the doctor and go on antibiotics as we got a bug and have had bad stomachs for a while. sorry for not going in to vast detail... but im pushed for time and will write more detailed blogs when we settle in la paz.
