Hi all. Just to let you know that I won't be posting a blog for at least a week or so. I did type one (which took 2 hrs) whilst in Vegas, only to find that I deleted it by accident - without saving it. The 4 of us have bought a laptop between us, however there are no wireless connections where I am now (in Rarotonga, Cook Islands) as it's such a small place. I hope all are well...  It's been a while since my last entry.  Currently in Cuzco, Peru's third largest town.  Following on from my last entry, we took an early morning flight from Arequipa to Cuzco, with our 4 day Inca trek looming.  We went to the Sacred Valley and hung out with some of the locals, one of which was a 100 year old man.  We went onto some ruins and hiked a mountain for a couple of hours in order to prepare us for Machu Picchu....

Absolutely knackered at the moment.  Having arrived in Arequipa at an altitute of 2300m, I'm feeling a little light-headed right now.  Yesterday we commenced our 2 day bus tour of Colca, incorporating Colca Canyon, the deepest Canyon in the world.  We were rudely awoken by Jose and jumped on the bus.  We were told that we'd be hiking at an altitude of 4910m - no problem for me - or so I thought.
