Arrived into Bangkok early evening on the 27th and caught a cab to our hostel. Nice place, off Kaoh Sahn road. City is really hectic. Smells, and everywhere we look people are walking around without shoes on! Headed out for some dinner with Al a guy we had met on the plane. It felt strange to be eating so early as we had been served breakfast on the plane only hours before.

We spent the next couple of days visiting the main tourist sites including the Grand Palace and the Golden Buddah, and even managed to squeeze in a night out on the town.
