Hey there strangers. Just a few lines to let you all know what im up to. We are currently waiting in Alice Springs for the second leg of our Ghan train journey that takes us all the way up to Darwin (a 24h train journey) which leaves today at 4.40pm. Would like to say how nice it was to hear from you, to Sarah, Roger and Aunty Lou and im sorry to say Roger that unfortunately Chelsea has a boyfriend and your probably twice her age!! hehehe. Hope your feeling better Sarah and it was a shame we couldnt meet up for new year as its been a long time no see!! maybe ill have to drop by to HK before I return home!! The Uluru Tour we did was amazing when I get to Darwin I will load all my photos on to the site and hopefully ill will have time to put the other 3000 photos on that ive collected along the way for you all to have a nosey at.
And ill try and put some postcards on here for you to read aswell where ill explain more details about the mad places we have been! So Aurevoir for now. Pete. ps keep the messages and gossip coming!!

Just a quick hello. Where are you now then you have to be somewhere, even if it is in the middle of nowhere! Can you bring us some sun back when you come home? We have had a bad weather forecast for tonight so might be snowed in tomorrow, then again .... gritter just gone by!
I have to go to Manchester to get my visa for China (or London). They only open Monday to Friday between 10 and 12 noon and they won't process the same day so thats two trips or stay over but what would I do in Manchester???? Sarah is arranging a trip for me. Tony isn't coming he can't get time off.
I've decided to get a kitten so am looking for a real tabby farm cat that wants a good home. Have been looking ages and can't find one, would you believe that!

Rog and I were sorry not to see you in Sydney - although we think we did at one point!!!!! It was like looking for a needle ina haystack. Didn't rate Sydney as one of the best places to visit but did enjoy it. Still prefer Asia - but am beginning to run out of places to visit.
