Abbie - This morning we packed up and drove to Cook Town. When we got there we set up and then went to a café and had a very nice lunch. After that we went to the James Cook Museum. At the museum there was lots of history and then museum even had the real anchor and canon from Captain Cook. After looking at the Cook lookout we drove back to the caravan park and went in the pool. After having showers we were glad that we drove to Cook Town.

Olivia - Another great day came along and since it was sunny we decided to make our way to Cook Town. We finally got there and set up the caravan enjoying a nice hot day. Our Granny was enjoying looking at us while we set up the van, all tired and exhausted. We decided to have a look at Cook Town so we headed in to town. We all got there and Mum, Dad, Granny and I were hungry for lunch. We went to a Cook Town restaurant and decided to have a meal. We had our lunch and left. We went to the James Cook Museum. We had a man telling us about James Cook's landing in the river. We had a look around and got told a warning that the museum was closing in five minutes. We rushed out of the museum and went to a lighthouse to look at the view. We headed to our caravan park, quickly went in the pool and that was the end of another refreshing day.
