I arrived in Auckland around midnight, and my original plan was to stay at a local hotel before catching my onward flight to Fiji in the morning. In the end I decided to sleep on a chair on the airport. This was fine until people began arriving for their early morning flights at 4 am. I realized my spot was right next to the door into the departures hall, and so it got so cold I decided to get up at 5 am!
