Spent the day over in China town...as it is Friday they whole place seemed to come to a standstill at 1pm...thousands of men (I did not see one woman) headed off to the national mosque for prayers. Not sure if this is normal or because it is Ramadan but they literally drove up in their cars and mopeds and blocked all the main streets...they just parked in the middle of the road to get to the mosque. It was amazing...I was not allowed in...do I look like a touri...

Arrived in Kuala Lumpur and really treated myself to a nice hotel...It is a beautiful place right next door to the Petronas Twin Towers. The area is lovely with a nice water area with fountains and bars and there are loads of great people to travel chat with. Had a bit of a tour of the city doing all the touristy stuff then again met some people at one of the local cafe bars. One of them, Hazel, an expat is taking me out tomorrow to see the real nightlife in K...
