Hey Paus and Jon Im so glad you were able to visit Denver! I had a fantastic time with you both and thought I should let you know.
10 things I have learned in 3 days with you (not being on a boat this time):
1) Never to call Paula Paula again.
2) When Americans say the British are coming they (we) mean for more alcoholic beverages.
3) Paus can ride a mean black run on Pepis Face.
4) Never to mention the word 30 to Jon.
5) Jon delights in not yet being 30.
6) Bagels arent typical breakfast fare in England (whats up with that!?)
7) Wheely bins arent some type of new snowboarding maneuver.
8) Your postcard of Denver on this website is actually a pic of New York City (errrr trying to make this place look like less of a cow town?)
9) Paus has a lot of necklaces that Jon bought for her.
10) Paus and Jon share expenses.
Enjoy the rest of your great vacation and remember not to go too overboard with Las Vegas slogan of What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
:)

Hope the two of you are still enjoying yourselfs. No work, getting up to the sun shining and meeting lots of new people. I'm not jealous at all, i get up to the wind and rain, have an hour and a half journey to work on the slowest train there is and then meet lots of people from all over the world in Peckham. We are missing you both and look forward to you coming home. Tate wants to be chased in mum and dad's garden for an hour by you both whilst i sit having a beer. I'm off to Latvia on friday 3 March for Steve Marshalls stag do!. 21 of us going. The best weather were getting is a high of -4. Then 9th March were off to Florida for two weeks. Can't wait for a bit of sunshine to top up the golden tan!.
Take care, see you soon

Now about to leave Central America after a whirlwind 3 weeks tour through Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala. What amazing countries, all very different to each other yet with the same underlying beauty of the landscapes and friendliness of the people. The Panama Canal -awe-inspiring- but the city can be skipped (or should be is probably more exact. The border crossing into Costa Rica is comical in that you are made to act like a refugee in a caged area for over 2 hours for no apparant reason and then your bags are waived through with little more than a glance. San Jose, well it seems like the capitals in Central America do not have the pull or beauty of those in South America, they are rather a necessary evil from which to catch the next bus out again. Vulcan Arenal, supposedly the third most active vulcano in the world is definately worth a trip to CR all by itself and the mountain scenery north of San Jose is stunning, the first time we have hit altitude since Bolivia all those months ago. Nicaragua, still so poor even when compared to other countries bordering it, is a gem of a place and the people are really extremely friendly. The border corssing at Los Chillies is the most picturesque one we have seen with a wonderful boat journey up onto Lake Nicagarua to San Carlos (not the prettiess place in the world). Monkeys and tons of birds line the way but be prepared for a wait before the boat leaves as the captain feels the need to say goodbye to the whole town before he leaves (and we are sure he does this every day). Granada is what the books say, pretty with wonderful views of vulcanos and the lake and our only disappointment was not making Isla de Omepete (next time for sure). Honduras, with a capital no one can prenounce (te gus e gal pa - phonetically speaking) is a great country when you get out of the american culture laden cities. Roatan, Bay Islands, is chilled out and we had a wonderful time passing our advanced diving course (thanks to Adam and Tracy, great instructors, plus all at Ocean Connections). The deep dive round a wreck at 30m was definately the highlight. Onto Copan Ruinas (one of the top Mayan ruins) andf a lovely village to match and finally to where we are now, Antigua in Guatemala. This city is the most beautiful place we have been to. The cobbled streets, stricking colours of the buildings, 3 volcanos towering above was only ruined by the fact Chelsea lost!!!!!! Oh such is life. America awaits tomorrow... Love to all J&P xxxxxxxx
