Day tour of Champagne region - Reims France Next stop was at a small family run winery - La Maison Penet. Pierre our tour guide talked about the method of growing grapes. This vineyard has vines that are 80 years old. Martine our host cooked a beautiful lunch for us - using local farmers for the produce.

Day tour of Champagne region - Reims France We had a fabulous day exploring the champagne area. First stop was Taittinger. - we had a tour of their underground cellar which was amazing - and of course a glass of their lovely champagne.

Marais area Back at the fabulous Marais - great to be back

Day 1 in Paris We had a very relaxed day today - listened to some jazz street performers, walked around the Marais area which was buzzing with people. Being Sunday most of the shops were closed except for the cafes and independent boutiques. A great day for people watching.

Day 1 in Paris First stop was to visit Alain at the Marche des Enfants and have one of his amazing lemon crepes - beautiful.
