Lyon, France Apr 30, 2015 La Croix Rousse Lyon is well known for its fabulous cuisine and after another great lunch today - a walk was definitely needed. The quarter is called La Croix Rousse (the russet cross) because of the cross the Christians put their in the 16th century. The area was home to the silk workers. The hill is 254 metres at its peak - lots of steps to get their but great views once you do.

Lyon, France Apr 30, 2015 Jazz in Lyon We went to Hot Club Jazz - a famous jazz club in Lyon. It was like a cave like room underground where we heard poetry with jazz, rap and jazz and guys getting up from the audience playing piano, guitars. Unique Lyon jazz.
