Got our flight bright and early this morning. The Bangkok DMK airport is quite small and pretty easy to manoeuvre around so that made it simple enough. We got our Vietnam visa today which consisted of two trips to the embassy and we've booked our flights to get to Hanoi on Sunday. :) Really looking forward to Vietnam! While you were sleeping! I left Monaghan at 1pm on Wednesday, 16th January and went to Dublin airport for our flight which left at 5:30pm. It would be a lie if I said there weren't tears but its only good luck for now. Xx We landed in Heathrow and boarded our flight at 10:10pm and while you were sleeping, we flew from there to Bangkok. Arrived at the Marriott Courtyard which i feel is somewhat out of our league but I must admit it is good to know that we've got a nice big bed and a very warm shower for the next three nights. We explored the 'good' side of town tonight where you can see Rolex, Versace and every shop you could possibly name! Although i did notice they forgot about the Penneys. :) We haven't seen a great deal of the real Bangkok today so we'll be going exploring soon!!

Packing is NOT fun!! I've packed and then unpacked and packed and unpacked.... (This action was repeated over and over) Note to self...
