So we arrived in London on Thursday night on the Eurostar from Paris , it was a warm trip as the air con in our carriage did not work ! Another 2 sensational days in Paris spending time at Sacre Couer and the Pompidou Centre , mixed in with loads of soccer and lots of walking the streets that was very tiring for Elliott and Joshua!!!! Sunday was wet and we spent the day doing the open tour , it was a little challenging in the rain. Yesterday we continued the tour in glorious sunshine , which meant for a much better view of things. We walked around luxembourg gardens at lunchtime and then back to Notre Dame to visit the book shop - Shakespeare and company. Mark purchased a copy of 'the red balloon' from when he was a kid. What were we thinking flying straight through !!! Having come out the other side it has been a good decision in the end. The first flight was highlighted by poor Elliott not feeling well resulting in a mad dash to the bathroom being aided by hostesses with bags along the way and Elliott thanking them all !
