Day 4- We were up at 4 am to make sure we were at the front gates to Machu Picchu good and early, long before the hoards of tourists arrive from Cuzco via train. We had a steep one hour hike to get from Aguas Calientes to the site, and it was not easy at all. We ended up having to wait for the majority of our group while they scampered up the 1000 some odd meter incline. This is what awaited up when we finally got to go in- clouds.
