Sorry it has been some time since my last message but I've been in the wars slightly!!! In the same week I managed to burn my hand on a kettle and end up with the flu!!! oh well, at least I work in a doctors surgery so I can get quick advice on all my ailments!
Anyway, I came back to Oxford to day for Chrisrmas with my parents. I've got a huge amount of uni work to do and would FAR rather be off travelling like the teo of you! Jonathan and emma are off to Rio on Sunday so like you, they will be spending Christmas in the sun!
I'm absolutley amazed at everything you are managing to fit in to your holiday, you might need another break when you return just to get over exhaustion from this one! I can not believe you did a bungee jump Pat, I don't think I could even watch someone do it let alone try it myself. You are very brave! Anyway, hope to hear from you soon. Lots of love and christmas spirits,

It's great to see all your wonderful photos of Chritchurch. It seems to be a place of contrasts with the spectacular mountain views and the homely looking streets. The Christmas parade looked like it was fun to see. I noted people were wearing jumpers etc so I guess it is still a little cool at times - hot weather to come soon! You both look really well. Mum, Dad, Peter & I had a nice time in Wales though the weather wasn't too brilliant. Rain & wind most of the time but it blew away the cobwebs!! They were fascinated to look at your photos & the blog & enjoyed writing their message. Hope being on the open road is fun. Speak again soon. xx

Hi Chris and Pat, how quickily the weekend has come round. It's blowing a gail and raining here so decided to cheer myself up and find out what you have been up to. Love the picture of the snow. If you are going up into the mountains I hope you bought warm sleeping bags or a large double one! XX Lesley
