Thanks for all your comments, even if they are a bit random. We are all fine and dandy in the big city, apart from the extensive, skin shedding, walks up never-ending hills. We're currently resolving the dilemma (the Nelly and Kelly) of getting ourselves to LA, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite park on a budget of a clam chowder with sourdough. We're going to hell in a tin can, but we're enjoying the ride!
