Sohpie and Tami,
Have just read your latest blog post and just wanted to say that it was very sweet of you. It was lovely to meet you both and spend the day with you. Glad you enjoyed the cakes - otherwise Paul would have eaten them all and he would have only got fat (and wouldn't have fit in the helicopter!). We are pleased that you had a good time.
Look forward to catching up with you when we are all back in the UK and you can show us the rest of your photos.

Hello Sophie and Tami,
Lovely to see you both in Sydney. We hope that you are enjoying your trip up the coast. What was Newcastle like - Paul and I haven't been yet. Is it worth the trip?
Have a great time, look forward to reading your updates and seeing some photos of you both in your lovely nice clean clothes :-)
Lots of love

Ladies - my most humble and sincere apologies. I discovered the site's weird way of managing daily posts the day after I had added my message to the board (hinting at a daily diary), and have had real pleasure in catching up with all the bits I missed first time through. Super stuff; the trip is even more full of exploration and adventure than my first read indicated.
Good idea to explain the site's peculiarities in the Home page, and confirm the chronology - well done, and thanks.
Love, Aris

Hey, Adventurers - thanks for the Mother's Day blog update, much appreciated. I guess you might be on the way to Cairns by now, running along with the 'roos.
I appreciate that it is not always easy to update this blog site, but I hope you are keeping a regular (daily?) record of your exploits on the laptop. Then perhaps when you return to the UK, all your massive host of adoring supporters and fans might be treated to a publication of the in between doings that could not be fitted into the posts.
It need not be wildly exciting like bungee jumps or illegal midnight skinny dips - to us armchair adventurers every thing you two do on this trip is interesting.
Love, Aris

Hey Girls,
Hurry up and post another blog as I'm in danger of doing too much work without anything intersting to read!!
Love you
The Matt
How are my two favourite girlies then?
Because I'm a sad git, I worked out the number of days between when you left England, until the day I get back from California (Yeah Tami, if Soph didn't tell you, I'm afraid I won't be at the Airport to see you when you get back, because I won't be in the country!! Shocking I know!!)
Anyway, the number of days you'll be away, then I'll be away is (according to a very useful website I found) 161 days. Since you have apparently been away 36 days (today, accoring to GMT time) then Tuesday is the day where you have been away for a quarter of your time.
I originally did this to try and cheer myself up that you'd already been away for ages, so it couldn't be long till you were back. However, when I realised that you hadn't even been away for 25% of the time then I got kind of depressed.. :( rubbish.
Anyways, Soph has already promised to meet me at the airport when I get back, so I expect you to be there too Tami! :P
Love You Guys!!
xXx

Hi Girls, Sorry not to have been in touch for a while. J & I have been to Somerset to see Lynne and Ronan, he was doing one of his A level drama plays (awful) not him the play. Tenesee Willimans, Suddenly last Summer. If you don't know it, don't bother. Thanks for the P.C loved the elephants.
I have a lot of catching up to do on your journal entries, you were still in S.A. last time I looked, so need to read about the sharks etc. Glad you are still in one piece.
Off up to Cumbria next week, house, hen and rabbit sitting, such an exciting life!! Will take your address and use Sarah's laptop to keep up-to-date if I can.
Update on Ronan's music career, he might be appearing at the Festival at.........hang on, another senior moment, can't remember the dammed name of the place. I'ts held in a field, always appears to be muddy on the TV it's on for three days and it's massive I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. I shall probably awake at 3 am. yelling the name. ( Will try and remember for the next message. ) The big laugh is, everyone has to register this year with a photograph to even be in the running for a ticket. and they are 125 pounds. Lynne has registered but dosn't know if his band will be playing yet, they are called 'Blue Bullit' and Ro is the lead singer. We are all keeping our fingers crossed.
Keep safe, love and miss you

Thanks for the postcard, Tami. I have just caught up with the blogs, and I am glad I'm not with you - it's all a little too energetic. But I do admire both your spirits, and envy the wonderful sights and experiences that you are gathering. Keep the posts coming - it is great to travel with you vicariously.
