Hey guys, it's Celeste and Nina here doing our 50th day blog (which was actually on Tuesday)! We decided that we would ask each person their favorite quote, photo and food. So let's get started.
Nina: Food- crépe by the Eiffel Tower (strawberries, whipped cream and sugar)
Photo- Duck Chase!
Quote- Since we hadn't had American food in a while this is what I said.... "I saw hamburgers and I was all like yee!" (in a country accent)
Celeste: Food-chocolate mousse from Livio's in Paris.
Photo- Me at KaDeWe!
Quote- In Barcelona I went in the YSL store and was loving the 41,000 euro fur coat. The sales person came up to me and said, "Would you like to try a couple of things on." Then my mom about had a heart attack and told him no thank you. Five minutes later, eating a TWIX bar I had chocolate all over my hands. Which explains why my mom thought it was a bad idea for messy me to try it on.
Amy: Food-crepes at the Eiffel Tower (bananas, strawberries and nutella)
Photo - Burgundy Castle
Quote- When viewing paintings and sculptures, the girls have coined male private parts, "zip-a-dee-doo-das". As in "That guy looks like he is thinking, I feel free with my zip-a-dee-doo-da hanging out." And in the Rodin sculpture garden, "My hands and head are cut off, but I'm happy I still have my zip-a-dee-doo-da."
Anthony: Food- Portugeuse steak in Lisbon.
Photo- Kisses at the Eiffel Tower
Quote- While we were on a canal tour our tour guide said, "We are now passing a University where many politicians go and learn to speak without saying anything at all."

Aunt Kathy I can't believe it has already been 50 days! How many new foods have you tried? Miss you guys!
Lisa Finn--Susan's neighbor Love reading your blogs. Berlin and Rothenberg bring back memories from when I was a junior in high school and we traveled to Germany. The Wall was up back then. Loved both cities!!! Heidelberg is beautiful, too, if you get to it.
Michele Putnicki Did you take the night tour of the walled city when you were there? We loved it and Baden Baden was memorable because Jake (9) couldn't read German and went upstairs to "all nude bathers." No anatomy lesson for him, it was an all male revue! But I learned a lot. ;)
Amy Aunt Kathy - the girls are up to about 14 foods. They will have to post the list. Lisa ans Michele - isn't Rothenburg the most glorious day trip ever? Yes we took the Night Watchman's tour. So great.
