We started the day with a short walk through Potter's Field Park to Tower Bridge. After crossing the bridge we went to the nearby Tower of London which is pretty famous as the place Henry VIIIth beheaded some of his unfortunate wives. We spent a couple hours at the tower which is a large, interesting place steeped in history. On our way out we were stopped as the path had been cordoned off because at 1pm there was a 62 gun salute for the anniversary of the Queens...
