So its offical. We are going to Korea on Tuesday! EARLY tuesday, but thats ok. We got our passports back from the Korean consulate today. We had to mail our passports into the Korean consulate because there was no one close enough to us that we could go to. And Ill tell you, I am so glad we now have them in our hands. I was super stressed out this week, not becasue I didnt have them but the fact that when I called the consulate about when we might get them they had no idea where they were! In fact the one lady that I had talked to called me back and said that we weren't even in the system! Let's just say I had a slight panic attack. I prayed a lot that night and several of my friends did as well. But God took care of us as usual. The next day, I even think it was the same woman, called me and said I needed to arrange for UPS to pick up our package because they didn't have a drop box at the consulate. So everything is fine and we got our passports two days later. The funny thing is the woman said I needed to go through Atlanta's consulate next time because I used my parents address in Florida and we will have to use that consulate instead of Chicago. Well actually I found out that we could have gone to the Atlanta consulate when we were passing through it but we didnt feel like stopping with a car full of stuff and two big dogs in the back seat. So we have a few more days in Florida with my family before we leave.
Seth and I actually have a list of places to go and eat before we leave the States. Most of them we have done but some are still on the list.
- Papa John's pizza, done
- Olive Garden
- Disney World, Seth had never been, went there yesterday
- Mel's hot dogs, local place in Florida, done
- Mellow Mushroom
- Chipotle, My absolute favorite!
We still got two full days to finish this list. :)
Ok till next time!
