We have been very busy the past couple of days. On Friday we walked to Chinatown and had dim sum there. We walked around there and then back to the hotel for a dip in the pool. Late afternoon we went over to the MBK mall and did some browsing in the electronic section. We bought a longer charging cord for our iPads and Dave's did not work. We are in transit today to Bangkok. We arranged a driver and insisted he take the highway instead of the winding "shortcut" roads through town. It was still a long drive, but much more pleasant. The hotel offers a complimentary Tuk-tuk to certain places near the hotel. We decided to take their tuk-tuk to the metro station and walk to Chinatown from there. We sat at the pool in the morning and then decided to eat some street food for lunch. Wah, wah, waaahhh, its only open Saturday's and Sunday's. Ok, I guess ice cream will do. Jody and I went for a long walk on the beach and stopped at a few little shops on the way back. We had a Thai dinner-shrimp and lobster pizza. It was delicious.
