Finally got to St Paul's cathedral today, it's such an amazingly beautiful cathedral, it takes your breath away. The ceiling murals are just magnificent in all their golden splendour, it's probably a good thing I couldn't take photos as I would have used a whole memory card. It's hard to believe that's where Diana was married but I understand why that cathedral was chosen as it was just beautiful. We then headed to Westminster Abbey, not as beautiful as St Pau...

Today we headed to Kensington Palace, first walking through Hyde Park and visiting the Diana memorial fountain, and walking by the many lakes, it was a really foggy day which gave the park a bit of an eerie feeling. Our first day in London started with an amazing English breakfast of poached eggs, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans and toast mmmmm. Well we left Amsterdam, deciding last minute to head to London, €200 later for our train ticket we were on our way, it was approx 6 hours on the train and we came out of the tunnel to typical British weather, cold and wet....
