JAH says riding pillion on a Honda 50 through storms and tempests can be detrimental to your health!
Wow! Scaresville! I am sticking firmly to pedal power from now on. You must have been absolutely terrified! What lengths to go just to get your washing done!
Nice to see Lauren has been able to find pig heaven - were you able to negotiate the exchange of your 'piglet' for a lovely big fat porker!
We are off on our own adventure today battling through the rain forest with our machetes to Lyme Regis - I only hope we can make it!
Love to you both and looking forward to sampling the delights of South East Asia in October xxxxxx

wow, some more nice photos there! well jealous that youre in siem reap at the moment, thats where we spent the 2 months teaching - both me & fe still get homesick for it!! you should check out garden village guesthouse - theres some cool khmer guys who hang out there, ask for Lucky (he's our friend, who we went to the cinema and the lake and the temples with). also ask for Jay Lim-Chea, who has a school of his own and is always looking for barang (the khmer equivalent of falang!!) teachers to help out there. also he or lucky can hook you up with any local help or advice (nudge nudge wink wink hahaha!!) still, cant get too jealous - off to marrakech tomorrow night woohoo! going to hook up a magic carpet and learn the mystic ways of the snake charming desert dwellers... peace out, one. stelo

Ola!!!
How lovely to hear from you and find you well and in the land of the living-but only just!!!
I had a wonderful few days in Barcelona-despite falling flat on my face and having a multicoloured knee and very red face due to the embarrassment. It is a wonderful city but very hot and busy this time of year-too many tourists!!!
Dad and I are off to Lyme Regis in Dorset next week and will soon be booking our flights for October-we hope to fly out on the 3rd!!
Steve and Fe were here yesterday for a bbq and were great helping Claire prepare for her trip.We have booked the first few nights in a hotel in Bangkok-not a typical backpackers hotel!!-very swish! Her and Matt are planning on flying out to Cambodia on Aug 27th-but will confirm all plans with you shortly-she is sooooooo excited!(oh my god)!!!! We were so lucky to have Steve and Fe to help!
Hope you get your memory card sorted out soon so we can see more photos-if you need Claire to bring a new one then let me know.I am having withdrawal symptoms!
Adios----love and miss you so much.Take care and keep safe xxxxxxxxxxl

Hi to you both hope the travelling is going well I assume that you are quite a long way from civilisation or are so chilled that you do not want to make contact with planet england. I took sabrina to visit Althorp today and we saw Earl Spencer in the shop she was quite shocked that he didn't have "a whole bunch of minders" which I thought was really funny! We had lunch at the Spencer arms and at last summer may be happening in England as it looks like we are having two days without rain! Take care love as always mum and dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
