Again not too hard a day - maybe i'm getting a bit blasse about it all. Beautiful villages and towns in somerset (such as somerton the ancient captial of wessex). The somerset levels are fascinating (a little piece of holland), then ate cheddar in cheddar and rode through cheddar gorge which is amazingly beautiful (the photo is there but i couldn't really get the old lady to crouch down for a better view of the cliffs). Broke a spoke on my bike and had another bike shop guy do loads of work on my bike and not want to take any money. Starting to think that the further from London you get the nicer people are. Chatted to lots of fellow cyclists today which is good for the soul. Tomorrow at 10 i should enter wales and be there for about 10 minutes - better than nothing i suppose.

judith Cheddarin Cheddar, v impressive. Do cycle shop guys just pass by? You must be using up some of your 9 lives. Wanted to call you this eve but just got my phone wet in gym, so letting it dry out properly (sounds like dog ate my homework) so couldn't get your mobile no out. Thinking of you xxxx
Remco Cheddar? does not sound like Holland at all :-). Looks like a great trip! Keep up the biking.
Julio Oli! Your trip sounds amazing, that part of the world must be beautiful! And how nice to have cheddar in cheddar. Weather is being a bit funny in London, between sunny hot and cloudy and rainy! Hope yours is better! Enjoy yor 10 mins in Wales and speak soon! Good luck!
