Have had to resort to Wikepedia to find out what Bhang is does that mean you've got religion as well ? think I'll skip that on my trip middle aged coward that I am!

Still looking forward to (and enjoying) each blog and studiously ignoring the opium references. Bit concerned that 50 is middle aged - sounds young to me! Keep them coming.
Ollie
Jane - Yeah I'd say they were in their fifties, I think you'd probably enjoy it, it's not very demanding and very relaxed. Either way, there's loads of different treks/tours you can do out here so I'm sure you'd find the right one for you. I'm in the mountain town of Shimla at the moment (where Kipling's 'Kim' is set apparently). It's nice to get to the himalayas, it's much more chilled out here, although there are naturally a couple relatively steep and tiring hills about. Very nice though.
Jane
Hmm yes I can see the advantage of the open air theatre in India compared with the drenching one can invariably look forward to in England might evn make Shakespeare enjoyable!
So middles age does that apply to us lot or is middle age younger ?? Just wondering whether I could cope with the camel ride or more to the point have enough bottle!
I think your description did pretty good justice to the sunset -excellent .Have fun and take care Love Jane
Mum
Yes! I can't believe that they still want biros - I had that experience but didn't mention it to you as I thought it would be outdated and you'd be stuck with them. (They probably sell them on!)
Shakespeare and the desert skies. Bliss.
Mum
I wonder if it's okay to write pinpricks?
Ollie
A prize for the first person to notice another amusing censorship in my latest blog!
Jane
Can't believe it 3 days without a blog I am getting withdrawal symptoms you must be in the wilds of India or partying more opium tea anyone?
Dad
Opium tea and twittering ? I feel that life's passing me by. I went over to see Nana yesterday and she enjoyed reading all your blogs thus far. She draws additional comfort from my assurance that James is a sensible lad as well. Oh, an odd thing happened - Charlton won ( 2 wins in 22 - what a team!)
Looking forward to hearing about the desert night drive. All this cultural and sensory overload sounds knackering. Suffice it to say you've had a more active weekend than me. Just settling down with your old mum to watch the "History Man" ( Malcolm - don't watch it: there are women in the nip ).
Malcolm
Opium tea?!!! Hmmm.....
Mum
I only sent that message once, I was sure. Not trying to make a point! By the way, I've joined twitter - could possibly be useful for you but I don' know how many local peole would be twittering just as you were in the centre of a town wondering where to eat for dinner.
