Had a beautiful weekend at Leleuvia a tiny resort island an hour and a half boat ride from Levuka. We picked up an Italian philosophy teacher on the way over who kept us entertained the entire trip. Spent the day snorkelling and saw wonderful coloured corals, fish and starfish. We stayed in a thatched-roof dorm and decided to keep the lights on for fear of bugs, only to wake to darkness at 4am and someone shining a light around outside. Freaked out was an understatement! Turned out is was the guard and they turn the generator off at night! Another day snorkelling in paradise, went out quite far (thanks to the sea-cool Italian) and right at the shore got stung by a jellyfish! Not too bad but decided to take an antihistamine when I felt pain up my arm, only to pass out on the beach! Rocky trip back to Levuka and dinner with French Canadian Matthew to wind up a wonderful weekend.
