To our Journal Vixen,
You have become my new, favorite web site (thank you for the break from russianbrides.com). you have become such an influence, that i forget who i used to be. (for example) although it went against my olive skin heritage, i was routing for Germany just to hear of your experience with eurpean world cup mania. such as, do uber fans have a problem keeping their shirts on after scoring a goal like the players do? i may never know cause germany never scored...sigh. Pictures of such crowd reaction would have been nice...then i could switch to Germanbrides.com! SCORE!! speaking of pictures, where are they? that section remains blank? you have a unique opportunity to show us your time in the "red light" district and some building architeblahblah...the possibilities are endless. oh well enjoy yourselves wither way. and pics would be nice, even if it is a concrete wall or something.
love and safety,
jimbo

blue--
i can totally see you hanging out here. youd like it, im sure of it. the people are very diverse. i believe i read somewhere that this city has the most registered different nationalities, out of all other cities. with so many different people all living in one place. so there are all types of people here. everyone is laid back and friendly...of course, with any city in the world, there are some sketchy folk---but, nothing you can do about that. its really a lovely place.
the weather is nice. its on the cool side here. sometimes rainy. it stays light out for a long time. and its probably in the 70s today.
hope all is well and happy with you!

How are the people in Amsterdam? What is the weather like? For some reason that is one place I really want to see. Maybe even move there. Can you see me hanging out in that city? Journals are great! Keep'em coming.
Jess

Hey Jessy,
I am very jealous for several reasons. For starters, I can't believe you were in Italy for the game. That I could only imagine was insane. Second, I can't believe you are going to a magical land where they put Haribo gummy bears on your pillow case. That is something I could only dream of. You are living out my fantasy. You have to take a picture of that/ wrap them up and bring them home to me. I have to agree with Natalie and disagree with Lisa. ABORT the meat. That sounds totally scary even though I have never had it. I can't wait until you come home. We need to go to the movies, out to dinner, to the beach etc. Tell Rodger I said hello. I miss you and I will see you in 8 days.
Love,
Cristin
Lisa
Hey lady,
I, too, join the group of jealous young professionals who sit at their desk longing to be where you are right now. I am analyzing the success of frozen endcap displays at local supermarkets though, so ya know, you arent the only one being all glamorous and cultured.
I am so jealous for the games. I was just only in the Italian section of Boston fro the game and they were going unbelievably insane, so I can not EVEN imagine what it would be like to be in a country playing. I was scared when the Italian Amercians were freaking out over the win, and all I could think was, I hope Jess is safe during a loss. haha.
Alright, keep up the good times and the eating and drinking--I am jealous the most of that. I would probably even eat that gross meat Natalie was talking about, but hey, your only there once.
Safe travels and love,
Lisa
Kate
Hey hey!
I've been reading your journal entries (with a bit of jealousy) and I just realized there was a message board and I am way behind on messages! Your trip sounds amazing and I hope you are having the time of your life out there. Take lots of pics and keep us all updated on your travels. Tell Rodge I said hi and be safe!
Love you xoxo
Ashley
Awesome. You saw the game on big TVs and hung out with crazy germans. I am so jealous. I hope you had a world cup of a time doing it too. Miss ya.
Natalie
Hi Jammy,
I am sitting in work and am extremely jealous reading your journal entries. Glad you are having such a good time. I got free tickets for Cirque du Soleil last night and had extras, but no one was around. I thought you would've liked to come if you were home. The show was great, but I guess it's not much compared to what you are seeing. When I was in Germany, we only went to Frankfurt, Mannheim, and one other place. All I can say is you better not eat the donner (if that's how you spell it), the big slab of random meats that they shave off and throw into a sandwich. Gross. Also, get some gummy bears. They sell gigantic bags, but they are heavy to carry. The hotel I stayed at left Haribo gummy bears on your pillow instead of mints. Very cool. Miss you lots! xoxo
