Really excited about the Singapore slings on Singapore airlines too....last time they were better than the Raffles hotel Singapore sling (where the cocktail was invented)!! Perhaps that was because they were free on the flight and a fortune in the hotel though.....can't wait.......I love aeroplane food... but must watch out for the inevitable food hangover I'm gonna get!

I read your email with the Singapore airport link at work and it looks fantastic. I didn't realise you are stopping off there. XXX

Thank you for your message Sasha. …….Flying from Heathrow tomorrow 10/11/12 @ 6pm, with first stop at my most favourite ever airport - Singapore “Changi airport”. It’s just under 13 hours flight, arriving their time @ 2pm on Sunday 11th /6am UK time)
Last time we stopped at Singapore's Changi Airport, it was on the way to Australia in 2006, and we sat in some amazing lounge chairs which massaged your legs, and enjoyed seeing the colourful orchid gardens, but now after reading the link below I’m even more excited….

It’s a brilliant article – talks about Changi’s rooftop swimming pool in terminal 1, butterfly & cactus gardens and a 27ft waterfall they built in 2010....however we’re not due to fly to or from terminal 1, so I know I will be missing out on the swimming pool and the fish spa!! Should see the two-storey butterfly grotto and waterfall in terminal 3 though!!
Then, next stop Cambodia - Phnom penh airport......
Will think of Alby when doing cuisine research and report back, and thanks for warning about the snakes…I'll try to eat them before they can eat me...!
Sasha
Alby just started his asian cookery club today so make sure you send lots of pictures of the cuisine to inspire him with. Be safe and watch out for the snakes!!!!!!
