Well...finally we had arrived in Australia!!! We were all very much looking forward to a fresh change and we got it!

Consistently the weather was up near 40 degrees for the 5 days we were there which certainly helped us to keep our tans up.

Our first hostel though was far from good, it was a small 8 bed dorm and as you can imagine when the air conditioning breaks a little fan just really isnt going to make up for it so 2 nights was enough for us there before we moved across the road to our first 'VIP' hostel which we stayed in a very spacious 10 bed dorm which was very good apart from quite a small kitchen.

One thing we found with Adelaide was that unless you wanted to taste lots of wine you didnt have much to do so we spent 2 of our 5 sat on Glenelg beach catching some sun whilst playing some beach cricket with our super 'jonty pro' bat!!

On the day we left Adelaide we ere entertained by one of Dans relatives who lives about 20 mins drive from the centre of Adelaide. We were teated to a barbecue in which we had chicken wings followed by t-bone steaks and sausages. At least we had eaten once here eh!? But we were very much treated and felt like royalty! It was also nice to be in a house which felt strange as it was the first house we had been in for over 2 months!!

We all thought that Adelaide was a nice enough place but we knew that the best of Oz was still to come!!
