Hi, Guys, "Wet & Soggies" here, stilkl alive and kicking on a lovely Monday morning (honest) in Hastings (near Napier on the East coast of the North Island. A bit away from technology so, sorry, no new photos till later in the week. T&A will e-mail you a number later, (it's in the van and I'm at the site office using their computer to write this!); G & G thanks for following us, thought you'd be glad of a break from the Noys! Sorry we didn't keep all the rain to ourselves, it seems as if all of the country has had a bad week! The fruit and nuts remind us of you and your lovely haven in Mosgiel, love to all there! Jax & FG, hope you found the Sinclair clan well and the house still standing - how's the new patio coming on? Sal, thanks for all the news, don't mind having a footballer in the family as long as he ends up helping the Canaries to win something! Love to you all, Richard & Jill xx

Hi wet and soggies. Hope you are managing to dry out. We are in the middle of another bank holiday weekend - with Easter so late we have been getting used to 4 day weeks lately. I hate to rub it in BUT we are enjoying lovely sunshine although it is due to rain on monday. We have spent the last few weekends in the garden weeding, pruning and chopping back - exhausting, though the sit on mower is fun - Chris and i now argue who is going to do the lawn!!! Pool not up and running yet but beginning to think the time is near. Have new additions to the Anthony family/menagerie - Bart and Arthur are guinea pigs (we had promised George we would buy new ones in the summer after Sugar and Spice didn't survive the move) and also a gorgeous fluffy little bunny called Blossam.
NG has been become a budding footballer (sorry Uncle Steve but they don't do rugby until they are 7). He now goes to mini football on a Saturday morning and although i am biased, he was very nifty with the ball and the coach said he was impressed with him. The hope is that after 1 and 1/2 hours of running around the pitch he will be too tired to cause mischief!!! Anyway we then had to buy out shares in the local sports shop with shin pads, footie boots and all the kit, which George has insisted in wearing day and night since!!! Have taken a photo of him in all the kit and will try and get it to you but as mentioned before technology isn't one of my strengths!!! Well i'm going to have a look at the shot over jet site now. Missing you loads. Keep dry. Love and cuddles Sallyxxxx

Oh dear! Can understand Mum being a bit frustrated with weather looks very dark! Great sunset shots though! Bank holiday weekend here so enjoying a couple of days off although forecast here not too great! Glorious yesterday (Sat) but had to work half of it! Grey today (Sun) but up till now dry! Definitely warming up and spring has sprung! The heating is off! Am sure you have better weather to come! Sending seperate e-mail for longer chat. Off to your house for Chinese take-away with the Sinclair's will be very odd that you wont be there! Love & Hugs J & FG xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Glad to hear that we are not alone in getting wet. We had a bit of a lake near the house as the drains tried to cope with the water...even got to the point of sandbags at the end of the street on Wednesday! Glad to see that you are moving along and we hope the weather is improving. Give as many wineries a bash as you can, it's not as if you have to travel far to get home. Has the aroma room experience been of any help? Say hi to the north island for us!!

Hi, it's getting close to your Sydney leg. Have you got a contact number so we can find out what you want to do. We've got a few thoughts but want to check first.
Carole
R & J It seems crazy that I am more in touch with you on the other side of the world than I am when you are the other side of the hill.It is also great to read news of all the family. Sally, if you read this I'd put my money on the fish !!!lThe photographs continue to delight me especially as you are now in the area I'd like to visit if I ever get back there. I'm off to Mytchett for a few days and then to Devon for Auntie Mary,s 93rd birthday so I'll have some catching up to do when I get back. Continue to enjoy yourselves. All my love Carole
Chris
SOJT64212206 is also quite nice!!
Chris
For reference - www.shotoverjet.co.uz number SOJT64212214. Photo there not a huge amount better than your photo of a photo! So not a big deal then? Mmm maybe it's a lack of control thing for me - someone else in charge. Anyway, we think Tigger might be sold, we have the promise, but not the dosh. And we are collecting Chiasmus next weekend. Quite what the puppy will may of it we can only guess. I love the latest photos, love that scenery, tall mountains rising from the waters edge. Very dramatic. Robert's birthday today. Lots of love Chris xx
Richard & Jill
Chris, it was no big deal - not sure of the photo number as I'm writing this in an internet cafe in Wanaka - and the number's back in the van a mile away and I'm NOT walking back! It might be visible at the bottom of the photo oif the photo, if you see what I mean. Sal, delighted in NG's latest feats! He's my boy! Love from Richard/Dad xx
Chris
Please don't tell my Richard about the Shotover Jet......or I will be in trouble. You are both plainly mad, or I will assume that Jill has been forced into this rash action!!! Can only suggest sitting in the middle of the boat and screaming loudly into Richard's ears!! You're a braver girl than I my dear. I look forward to the photos they put on the web. Let us know the date and number! It almost seems pointless to say look after yourselves, but I will anyway. Take care. Chris.xx
Sally
Hi mum and dad and everyone else who tunes in. My last message said i was just going for tea...........that was 2 weeks ago!!!! i've not been eating all that time which is more than can be be said for you- every other photo is of gorgeous food!!!! Agree with others all that food does not seem to be taking effect as you are looking good particulalry in the shot on the 7th April. Had a good Easter weekend with Jax and FG as well as long talk with Steve. All that was missing was...........you. Great to talk to you even though it was my phone bill!!!!. NG (nightmare grandson) has actually been quite well behaved recently though not sure how long that will last as he has just acquired a bow and arrow!!!! Having 3 of his friends around tomorrow whcih could be interesting. then he's back to school to terrorise Mrs Impey next week. Don't think i told you he fell in the pond a couple of weeks ago!!??? - not sure who was more shocked him or the poor fish!!!! Chris says hi but still refusing to log on and have a look himself - i have warned him that it will just mean he has to sit through hours of photos when you get home.!!! keep warm in the camper van love and cuddles sally xxxxxxx
