Back in the office, so time for a quick catch up. Everything looks good - haircut much needed dad!! Mum you don't age ever - hopefully I have got lots of your genes! Champions league final was good but not as good as last year. French were usual ignorant idiots and gave Stade de France a bad name, which it doesn't deserve. Idiot impaled himself on fencing which quite frankly served him right. Arsenal fans were rude and obnoxious and made the liverpool fans from last year look like saints. The game was disappointing although it was a spirited performance by Arsenal. Both Ronaldhinio and Henry were also disappointing, so all in all not a great day but nevertheless a privileged position to be in so I won't complain too much. Started our third major tournament this weekend in most unseasonal weather. Newcastle was very windy and a little wet. Leeds was very very wet and a little windy. So wet that even my Land Rover got stuck on the field! Spent a couple of nights with Tinsel down in Newbury and eat a lovely meal at a great fish restaurant near Chieveley (no not the service station Dad before you make your jokes!!) called the crab. Will take you there some time - service is very good. So back away this weekend to Manchester and Liverpool, Birmingham Tuesday and Bristol (Hopefully catch up with friends and Jax) and then back to London for following weekend. Will catch up when next back in the orafice!! Love Chopxx

Miriam, wonderful to hear from you and we hope to get over to Germany (yes, really!) when we've settled back in Europe for a while. Terri & Mac, what a surprise, the net gets wider, how's Cyprus? Hot, we expect - could do with some heat down here but it'll soon get warmer once we go north of Perth. Sally, glad to hear NG is enlightening you on what's in store in the coming years!! You wanted a boy? - You sure got one! Give him a big hug from GM and GD! Carole, didn't find Stanley Point, although we weren't really looking for it, the photos were taken from Devonport and from St Helier Bay, near Chrsitine and Jim's house. We are going to Perth (tomorrow) from where we pick up another campervan and start our Aussie trek. Love to you all and thanks for being companions to us on our trip! R&J xx
Carole
Great speaking to you whilst you were at the Gildea's and lovely to see the pictures of Aukland. I see you got to Devonport did you find Stanley point? Couldnt quite place the spot from where you took ypur photo of Downtown Auckland. Brought back many happy memories again. Sally if you are reading this you must have been mad to agree to 2 boys for a sleep over. I wonder any one got any sleep. Great hearing news of the family and crazy we are more in touch R & J when you are the other side of the world. Funeral went well even the weather relented and we were able to walk to the church. Now for the hard work!
I look forward to hearing more about Oz. Are you going to be in Perth area. Have a pen friend there.
Look after each other. Take care. Love Carole

Hi Gallivanting parents. Hope you have found sunnier climates now. It has rained here persistantly for a week. Have decided i am a fair weather mother as standing around watching NG play football this week in the rain was miserable. I am now a wet and soggie. Running around in the rain didn't seem to bother george. Forgot to take spare clothes so the car ended up looking like a mud pit too. Have also survived first sleep over. George had 2 friends to stay for the night on friday. 3 highly excited 5 year olds was a challenge to say the least and then came trying to get them to bed!!!!!They all asked for water to take to bed, for if they got thirsty during the night they told me, not a problem i thought and duly supplied 3 water bottles, by 10.00pm a water fight had taken place and 3 wet beds !!! I live and learn!!! All i can say is i eagerly await the other parents having george over for the recipricol sleep over. Still haven't mastered sending you photos - have some good shots of NG playing footaball and riding his bike without stabilisers. French week is now over - NG was relieved that they got to eat croissants not frogs legs!!! His class are now doing recylcling as their topic - George thought he could take his bike in!!!! Off to Devon next week for half term. keep having fun. Love and cuddles sallyxxxx

Hi Richard & Jill
Got your site from Lena when we were in U.K. for a few weeks recently. You sound as though you are having a great time, will you make a book of your adventures as we did when you were in Oz for MAN when we worked together, should make great reading. Enjoy the rest of your trip, will be in contact when you return.
Miriam
hey, jill and richard! how are you? - silly question, I saw the photos, they are soooooo wonderful! I really envy you a little bit. isn't this better than busses and coaches? don't understand me wrong, I still like my work, but I love my family! I found out that children are the best in life, but what should I tell you? you are surrounded from children. this little message was good to use a little bit english. I am glad to hear something from you, so let's stay in touch...greetings from the other (rainy) side of the world - Miriam

The tree's GONE??!! Minute's silence held this end. Andrew's words, immediately after the photo was taken were -"Are you two on honeymoon by any chance?" the rest of the story we'll tell when we get home!! Sigi, please say "Hi" to Miriam from us both and do give her the web address. Chris - GO TO BED EARLIER!! Have a nice weekend all! love from R&J xx
Chris
Okay - yes it is quite sad that I'm up and on the computer at 1:30, but at least I'm first to say 'Gaday Mate' and 'How's yer Sheila?' However that clears me out of Ozness. (Aren't you pleased!!). Glad to see you both look well in photo. Take care on your continuing travels. Big hugs. Chris xxxxxxx

I was the lucky one to enjoy Swindon!!
Will give Miriam this walkabout so our good girl can follow your trip if you don`t mind.
Would be great to get a message from "noisy noy" because I am going to miss his soft voice.
