Good to be back on the slopes but incredibly hard underfoot today - like skiing on squillions of hard white marbles in places - woo hoo! The nice ski patroller who kept me company yesterday whilst waiting for the snow mobile dude didn't understand what I meant when I said I was sooking on but really couldn't make it down the mountain. Day 264, 25 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. There must be a law that if one is going to take a tumble on a mountain, even after no tumbles in 5 days of skiing last week, there will be witnesses. Day 263, 24 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Rest Day - Had a massive sleep in till 9 am or so, had breakfast, read my book with my eyes closed on the sofa for a couple of hours (James witnessed it - he however was reading with eyes open). Day 262, 23 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Loving the skiing, we really are - having a ball in fact. But today was Saturday! Yay! Rest day. We are doing as the locals do and leaving the mountain to the folks who come up just for the weekend and ski like crazy people. Much safer to have a rest. So we pretty much did just that.
