Well I arrived safely in Adelaide at around 7.15am yesterday moring after spending two nights and a day stuck on the train (Indian Pacific). Well I'm still in Kalgoorlie, so much for only staying here three nights untill the next train. I realise now that I made a big mistake when I first arrived here. I listened to other people's judgements of the place, people who hadn't even stayed here. There really isn't much to do here in the way of sightseeing, once you've done the tour then thats it really but its the people I've met here that have made it all worthwhile!!! Well I arrived safely in Kalgoorlie at 10.20pm Sunday night. I had travelled from perth on the Indian Pacific train, leaving at 11.55am. The journey wasn't too bad, spent a lot of the time talking to some other girls who were all travelling to Adelaide. I'm stuck in Kal untill early thursday morning when the next train comes through. There isn't much to do here unless you are a goldminer or have an interest in brothels!

Caught the train to Fremantle yesterday morning. Spent some time wandering around looking at the town before giving in to my hunger pains and headed to the harbour for fish 'n' chips. After more sightseeing, I stayed the night at the Fremantle YHA and caught the train back to Perth City this morning. just got back from a night on Rottnest Island. Got the ferry there yesterday morning. Saw three groups of dolphins swimming in the Swan river on the way there. Rode around the Island for a few hours in the afternoon. The Island is famous for its Quokkas (small wallaby type animals). One started licking my bag as I tried to take a picture of it!!
