Have had an amazing few days since we left sydney! After leacing syndey on sunday morning we left for the blue mountains on the way we stopped off at feathdale wildlife park. Here we saw all kinds of australian animals and loads of little baby ones!! baby dingoes are so cute!! and so are baby wallabies!! ( i'l get some pics on if i can work out how.lol) Anyway after a short stop there we pressed on towards the blue mountains which are just incredible. We stopped at the look out point at three sisters rock which has a crazy aboringinal story and three sisters,a witchdoctors and a mythical australian creature which i wont even attempt to spell!! Anwyays the views were just breath-taking!! After here we drove into the blue mountains where we met up with out absailing school leaders! all kicked up we hit the mountains in the afternoon, starting with a few baby ones of 3 and 15 metres, which sounds so silly but it really takes gutts to push urself over the edge. But we most of us soon progressed on to the 25 metre and finished with the huge 55 metre face!! it was so scary! 55 metres is about 175 feet which is the same as an 18 storey building!! I was extremely excited and nervous but managed to walk of the edge and absail down the 15 metres of rock face before it became a free fall. I was just swinging in the air at about 40 metres from the ground with the most beaituful backdrop it was incredible!! After that amazing expereince we tok an over night coach ride to Byron Bay where i am until 2mr morning. Was a horrible journey but definately worth it, i spent this morning with the byron bay surg school! Not feeling very confident i was up to the task i gave it a shot and i rode those waves!! haha i even have photos to prove it, i might not look from sylish but im standing up! hehe Anways tonight the surf school have arranged a bbq and a few free drinks in the bar and a club. Should be an awesome night but we've gotta be ready to leave super early 2mr morning, about 5am!! And im on wake duty 2mr so im up at 4am! hurrah!!
