Just a quick blog post from Koh Tao...this island is beautiful as it has really nice beaches and crystal clear water. For the first day it rained whilst we were here but then the weather has cleared up so was able to do some sunbathing and swam in the sea. Well we were up really early this morning to head off to get the ferry to Koh Samui..have only been here a few hours but I like it already. We are at the Kho Sok National Park at the moment where we are staying in the rainforest quite cool but so many bugs it is unreal...we are staying in wooden bungalows and we have lots of lizards who are in our room too...we were caught in a massive rainstorm yesterday...made it out to the pub in between the rain but got caught in it on the way back...we were drenched...! Just been to Chiang Mai where we got the overnight train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai which took eleven hours...lots of banter on the sleeper train so made the time pass quicker...went to a Thai cookery school and made Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Springrolls and Tom Yum Soup yummy!
