We left the Fingerlakes at a decent time but who knew we would be passing one of the most historic and famous wineries as we were leaving. 10 am wine tasting at Dr. Konstantin Frank's winery commenced. These wines are on a completely different level, perfect examples of the quality of wines that can be produced here. Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Cab Franc, and a Late harvest Riesling were flawless. Headed out later to Nashville a little behind but totally worth it. We arrived in Nashville, Tn at 11pm and went straight to see some live country on the strip. Rippy's had a local celebrity playing, Nick Cross who did covers of all our favorite songs as good as the real versions. We also went to Robert's Western World and the Second Fiddle, 2 Nashville Dive bars with great live music. The best was Nashville Crossroads where we saw the Rivercity Gang play. These guys were amazing in a cant believe I'm seeing this for free in a dive bar in Nashville kind of way. The strip of Broadway is full of country bars with live music all night every night. Tons of country legends started out here, Tim McGraw, Reba, etc. I loved everything about Nashville, the flashy neon lights, bbq joints, and the music ringing through the streets from the groups of the next up and coming country stars.
