Hi to you both hope you are still enjoying your world tour.it wount be long before you start your north america leg of the tour, keep the photos coming
Nevin
Thanks for the update Andi. You've certainly hit the highs and the lows in NZ. What with skydiving and caving. And I see that you were even adventurous enough to try rugby.
So farewll New Zealand and get ready for probably yet another bit of a culture shock in Fiji. But it couldn't be as bad as India. Could it?
Take care guys and keep enjoying.
Andi
I'm sorry to say that Smurf is no longer with us. He has been sold to new owners, who, despite being Welsh, seemed like nice people! We've asked to be kept updated on Smurf's future progress and shed a tear as he turned the corner and started a new adventure.

Nevin, I'm shocked to hear that you did not receive an award for your efforts in the naming of the van competition. I'm sure there is written evidence on this site which states a "certificate is in the post". Legal action is recommended!!! (I'm such a bad loser!)
And... I'm sure you'll be so glad that I'm bringing this up again Nikki, but... Did anyone else spot the dress??? ha ha

Now then, Victor Meldrew. I think you'll find that in the 'small print' of the competition entry conditions, it stated that a prize would be awarded 'if' we decided we liked the suggested name more than Smurf - which we did not. However, as we are all family here, I don't think it's necessary to now seek legal advice on the matter, do you?! And as for the seals, they may well be a bunch of sissies, but my goodness they can shout and scream and can 'run' fairly quickly too. We've seen first hand why you're supposed to keep a 10m gap between you! Oh and by the way, no space station or albatrosscam was used in the taken of the photographs!
Nevin
Balloon photo was taken from the space station. Or from "Albatrosscam".
Anyway, why am I entering another pseudo competition. I seem to recalll that even though I was a joint winner in a previous one, I got diddly squat for a prize.
Love Dad
PS Sammy the Seal from Bangor Harbour says that all those New Zealand seals are a bunch of sissies.
Mum Kath (And Dot)
Just seen your photos on Dot's computer. Everything looks wonderful, especially the sunrise. Wish I could have been there with you!
Everyone got Easter eggs on Easter Sunday, hope you did too.
Since Easter Sunday morning, when we woke up to lots of show (Hurray!) It's been snowing on and off for days and it's extremely cold.
Have booked the Football club for wlcome home party, and spoken to Greg RE. Inviting the lads. Sandra, Janet and Bev all on board for helping with food. Everyone is looking forward to it.
Love Mum (In law)

Dot Says: I think that the Balloon photo was taken by that Penguin from earlier, on a flying surfboard. Don't you?
Nikki
Mmmmm, how did they take the photo???? I feel another 'on-line competition' coming on! Any ideas anyone? P.S. Hope your swim with Sammy the Seal went well.

Great photo from the balloon. What I want to know is - who was the buck eejit who got out to take the photo?
Local news as requested.
First of all, the weather (cos I'm sure nobody else will mention it. St. Paddy's day was sunny and mild. Watched the schools rugy cup final on the box and saw your old school slaughter the opposition 36 - 0.
Weather today bright but cold.
My own local wild life adventure. Recently saw 3 magpies, 3 wood pigeons, two robin redbreasts and a dead badger. Sorry to upstage you but that's how it is. So put that in your pipe and smoke it you daring Jarvo Duo.
I'm off now to swim with the seals in Bangor harbour.
