23-10-10 - PAY DAY! Well next adventyure after the Inka Trail was a trip furtehr south to a town in Peru called Puno, which was to be our base, whilst exploring Lake Titicaca. We had a 7 hour bus journey down to Puno, again these buses are awesome compared to the one´s in the UK. Had a last night in Cusco last night to celebrate the Inka Trail properly!! 16-10-10 So, went Paraglyding this morning, a few of us with a hangover, after our first proper night out last night, although i felt fine at 8am when we had to leave. We drove up to the Sacred Valley, which is where we will be starting our Inka Trail in few days. After a bit of waiting around and me being hyper as one of those duracell rabbits, mainly because i was still slightly drunk and excited at the prospect of Paraglyding. I finally got to go.......and...

Well where to start since last entry. 10-10 - Went to a traditional keechwa meal tonight, in the middle of nowhere, in this family, where the family had been living there for 50 years. They were really nice, and so friendly. We had to do a traditional marriage ceremony (yep i´m married now, lovely girl named Fiona), which included pooring wine and blowing coca leaves over the food that was being cooked in the ground with hot stones, of course in typical ´me...

OK well, where to begin. Met the group finally who are awesome, there´s 14 of us, half the group have been together since Ecudor, half newbies. It hasn´t all really sunk in yet, its so amazing out here, just having fun everyday, and haven´t laughed so much in a long time. So far we´ve done alot of travelling, been for some Peruvian food, mainly consisting of rice and meat, no broadness either way. The guide ´Alim´is really good, is actually from Peru, ...

WEll i´m finally here, all that banging on about it and i´m actually here.
