Wow. The ruins of the township of Pompeii that were covered when Vesuvius erupted are amazing. The archaeologists that have uncovered the ruins have done a wonderful job. They have stopped uncovering the township and are now working on restoring what is there. The pic I have added is from the arena where shows, performances etc occurred. Saw this on getaway only a few months ago. And no I didn't sing for everyone. Have just arrived in Sorrento.
