We arrived in Nepal and weren't quite sure what to expect, it is quite different to India. It is a lot less crowded and polluted, the scenery is amazing, you can see snow capped mountains all around. The people are really friendly and you don't get hassled as much. Lumbini is the birthplace of Buddha. I read that his mother was 10 months pregnant (not sure if that was a misprint) she gave birth by a tree that still stands there today. We went to visit it, it was a very peaceful place. One major things I noticed as we got to Nepal was that there were women working in the hotels and in the restaurants. In India it was nearly always men. Nepal is also a lot cleaner that India. So far so good. We got to stay in a really nice hotel that was pretty much empty and all the fire flies come out at night.
