This is a memorial set up in honor of a small girl, who while dieing of her injuries, folded thousands of origami cranes. Under tradition, anyone who complete a thousand cranes would have a wish come true. Unfortunately, this girl's wishes did not, and she died of her injuries. Today represents a charity who raises money to research and help children with diseases, so far rasing 5.6 million yen.
