Hello there really enjoying reading about your trip it sounds 'fabulous darling!' ( took my Nan to see Strictly Come Dancing Live!- I get to go to all the good places me!). I also went to purchase some trainers - the trainers that I will be attempting to complete the Great North Run in -however - the man in Start Fitness described me as 'slightly unstable' - Andrew wondered how he could tell my mental state just from looking at my feet!!!! Not sure ifyou have heard but Helen B has also signed up to run so that adds another good avenue for fund raising - however she keeps asking me to go out for a run with her which would be fine but she goes out in daylight hours!!! Take care and keep having fun.
love H x

Now then,
God dam snow again! This is no good, how am I meant to smash out the miles on the bike... I guess more turbo sessions are required. on the plus side Charley is working away (all week) so I can move it into the living room haha.
Not long to go now till Sydney mate, I bet you cant wait. It will be great chilling out with greg.
I have my first race at the weekend. Fully expecting to get my head kicked in but will be fun never the less.
DWOL... if your reading this, when are you signing up for a tri?? There is a nice little one start of June that me and a few mates are doing... Ill post details if you are keen.
Take care Neil and travel safe

Boro are crap again this week! Absolute classic on saturday watching soccer saturday, went to Kamara at the match after half an hour, he said Boro have dominated......but just can't score. I told Grace we were going to lose one nil and guess what we did. Play off place looks a long way off now!

Hi Neil
Hope you are keeping OK
Last night I was on the fells for 3 hours, in the pitch black, snow up to my knee and walking through a snow blizzard to find a land marks no bigger than metre. Out come was that I have Joined forces with B.A Baracus just in case you are not sure who he is, need to ask your Dad
A bit of a cryptic message but I am sure you will work it out

Alright Stinners
The trip is sounding class, shame you haven't managed to upload anymore pictures but I don't think super speed broadband has reached the places you are frequenting. I haven't updated for a while as me and Sarah have been to Africa (The Gambia) for a couple of weeks just catching a few rays and doing some fishing. I hope you are keeping well and just keep enjoying the experience. When you finally make it back to our colder shores, remember 3 course meals are available at the Smith household.

I'm sitting in Krabi after getting off my flight from Samui, waiting for the boat to take me to Phi Phi. Absolutely sweltering so I found a computer in the shade! Time is flying by...only 1 week to Oz now.
Adam - I think I'll have to be training alone having not done anything for at least 2 months. The only training I've been getting is carting a 20kg rucksack round everywhere, whilst Greg has been knocking the miles out for ages.
I've just been talking to some Thai bloke in this bar I'm in about footy...they all watch it here. But the difference is HE'S A BORO FAN! I thought he was calling my bluff until he started going into WGS's rebuilding process and how it's better that we don't go up this season etc etc. As we're not in the Premier League anymore, he follows the results and match reports online. His supporting days go back to Juninho et al appparently. Ah them were the days.

Finley and Henry - thanks for your message. It's great to hear that you've both had your bedrooms done - I'll look forward to seeing them when I get home. We'll have tea together as SOON as I get back!
It's really hot in Thailand,
There is also a nice breeze that keeps me cool during the day. There is a very big swimming pool with waves - it's called the sea! (a lot warmer than Saltburn though).
Keep going swimming at Stokesley and you might be able to go in the sea when you go on your holidays soon as well!
Be good for Karl and Becky! x
