My friend Trude and I decided to go to Ramallah for a day trip and spoil ourselves with a coffee from "Star and Bucks," which you can see the sign for on the building in the picture, and despite the fact that many people told me this was the place to go for the closest thing there is to a good old regular cup of coffee in Palestine, it was still not even close...maybe that's why I look kind of tired and out of it in all my photos? I never missed coffee so much in my life...and Turkish coffee is just not the same!! Give me creamo, and a big cup of JJ bean....
